The South Central Ohio Educational Service Center is accepting applications for a Digital Academy Coordinator to be assigned to students enrolled in online schooling provided by the South Central Ohio Educational Service Center for the 2021-22 school year. 

Digital Academy Coordinator candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree in: education, guidance counseling, special education, administration, or equivalent from an accredited college or university, a valid education, guidance counselor, special education, or administrative certification/license issued by the Ohio Department of Education, as well as Documentation/Background check of clear criminal record. 

The general description for the Digital Academy Coordinator is as follows: The SCOESC Digital Coordinator should be a flexible student advocate who is able to regularly meet with students in person, or virtually, to ensure students successfully progress through the courses. Coordinators collaborate with digital instructors to help contact students, troubleshoot, and be the person “on the ground” to engage students. Coordinators communicate regularly with the home schools regarding the student progress and maintain accurate enrollment records.
