The purpose of the Mentorship experience is to provide students with a real world view of what a profession is like and how you get there. Mentors can provide support, encouragement, knowledge and advice to students. The ESC partners with Southern Ohio Medical Center (SOMC) to offer mentorships to students who are interested in the medical field, as well as with other local businesses and individuals for students interested in other fields.
This one-day, four-hour experience is available to high school Juniors and Seniors.
Students participating in the Mentorship Program must fill out an application and are required to have at least a 3.0 grade point average and be recommended by their Guidance Counselor. Applications are available through school Guidance Counselors.
Our Mentorship Program has been cancelled for the 2020-21 school year due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
