Personal Aide Proficient in Sign Language

The South Central Ohio Educational Service Center is accepting applications for a Personal Aide proficient with sign language to be assigned to an individual student in the CAPE Alternative School Program at 522 Glenwood Avenue New Boston, OH.

Aide candidates must have a High School Diploma/GED, Educational Aide Permit valid in the South Central Ohio ESC (or willing to obtain permit), Documentation/Background check of clear criminal record, and one of the following:

•      Designated as ESEA qualified on aide permit
•      Has completed two years of post-secondary coursework
•      Holds an associate degree or higher
•      Has a passing score for Ohio on the ETS Paraprofessional Exam

All interested applicants should send a letter of interest, resume, and copies of background check to:
