Register now for 'Millennial Neuroscience' workshop
Register to attend the "Millennial Neuroscience & Best Instructional Practices to Close the Achievement Gap" Workshop, Aug. 9, 2017, at the South Central Ohio Educational Service Center, in New Boston, Ohio.
This is a fast-paced and interactive workshop for K-12th grade educators, counselors, aides and administrators that will provide training in research-based critical thinking and content area strategies that engage and motivate students to develop the 21st century critical thinking skills necessary for success across ALL content areas. This workshop will be free to anyone within our SCOESC member districts. For non-member districts, there will be a fee of $50.00 per person. The workshop will begin at 8:15a with registration from 8:00a-8:15a and will end at 11:45a.
Our presenter will be Julie Adams, M.A.T., NBCT. Ms. Adams, founder of Adams Educational Consulting, is an energetic educator who has taught multiple content areas from kindergarten through graduate school. She is an internationally respected and highly sought after consultant providing 21st century neuroscience, critical thinking and content area literacy and writing trainings to public and private schools and universities worldwide.
