Professional Development Opportunities
The SCOESC curriculum department offers several types of professional development workshops and coaching services. We provide information to help education professionals improve their instructional and leaderships skills with the ultimate goal of improving the overall quality of our schools and the academic achievement of our students. Our professional development is provided through seminars, workshops, and customized coaching services and is based upon research proven, best practices resources. Job-Embedded PD and Coaching

On-going professional development can be developed for the particular needs of a district or building. For more information about this approach to professional development, please contact the curriculum office at 354-0253.

Online Course:
 "Teen Dating Violence Prevention Education and Safety
& Violence"
now available.
HB 19 mandates education about violence in dating for grades 7-12,
by October 2011, and every five years after.  This law went into effect
March 29, 2010.  HB 276 mandated Safety & Violence training for all
K-12 staff.  Modules 1-4 meet all legal requirements.  You can view the
