Ohio’s State Tests 2015-16

A variety of material has been released to help teachers prepare for the upcoming Ohio State Tests developed by the American Institute for Research based on Ohio’s New Learning Standards (which include Common Core for English Language Arts and Math). On this page we have included links to the resources that could prove useful for teachers in tested grades. These resources include test blueprints and performance level descriptors that are essential for guiding instruction.

Blueprints
-- Test blueprints serve as a guide for test construction and provide an outline of the content and skills to be measured on the test. They contain information about individual tests, including the number of test items, the number of points on the test, and show how the learning standards are grouped in order to report the test results.

Vertical Alignments

Fluency K-12 (Achieve the Core)
-- A collection of fluency resources for teachers to help build and assess student fluency and increase comprehension. The resources below support assessment and practice of fluency.
